Well here it is, the first 'real' snow of the year. Seems later than usual. The new additions of American Buff geese seem to have finally settled in and quit trying to return to their hatch spot. Its only an hour away. First night they decided to break out and managed to get a mile down the road. Pretty sight to watch them fly, but it did enable to move long distances. A wing trim solved that.
We are expecting 6 more Dexter cows and their calves on Tuesday 12/2/8 very exciting.

first snow
Well looks like we have our first real snow of the season. Seems like its later than usual. the five American Buff geese are adjusting to life here on the farm and seem to be content here, and finally have quit trying to walk back to where they were hatched.
